After blowing through all of the fabric I had stashed my generous knitting friends started sending me their fabric scraps. My friend Kristina was even willing to part with a precious strip of Liberty of London tana lawn. Tana is a really fine cotton fabric. Pair that with it being Liberty and the stuff usually sells for $40+/- a yard (or meter since it's English and some stores sell it that way). Any way you slice it the pattern is lovely and the fabric as a delicious hand. I'll use it a lot more when that money tree in the backyard starts bearing some fruit.
